CARIBBEAN FILM DATABASE | ARCHIVES DU CINEMA DES ANTILLES

I came across the website caribbean film database showcasing many movies coming from or about the Caribbean. Among many, one that capture my attention was films made by women: Such as the poignant What my mother told me by Frances-Anne Solomon and Leda Serene Films. As for Caribbean women in film, one stood out, Burning an illusion. Very rare and unique for its time, its narrative as well the subject of the  film: The black women.
